So we celebrate the 6th edition of Therapy Sessions Bucharest on the 11th September, which is sooner than soon; brought to you by Dropdread alongside Anger Management and Freak Recordings.
The line up brings together some of the leading figures in the hard drum&bass/darkstep scene: german duo Machine Code(which consists in two already heavyweights: Current Value & Dean Rodell), beautyfull lady of darkness responsible for building a bridge between Philly(US) and London-UK(and well, all the rest of the world), Robyn Chaos and comming from Czech Republic, for the first time in Bucharest: Forbidden Society. The romanian support also gathers some crazy local producers: Freqax and Kevlar. Actually we’re pretty proud of our duo here, Freqax, and surely you’ll hear more of Kevlar.
What makes this movement so special? Well most of us know, and the rest of the fresh followers should learn: its an identity its members relate to, its a home people who love hards sounds come to.
Its nice to see diversity taking such shapes, especially when its needed. You’ll find Therapy Sessions just there.
Or its perhars the scent of the adaptation towards the powerfull impoulse of Life tryin to earn a place in this mad society. The brain plays a great part in it. We dont need catalytic agents to make us open our perception and feel good, we have the sound; the power of the basslines coming out through the speakers in order to connect our brain frequencies and eachother, of cource.
Perhaps it sounds brutal, but not more cruel than selling illusions through massmedia(and how we should stay away from our true nature instead of educating it for the sake of evolution and comunity). And this is therapy believe me..it can wash away the teenage angst, the strife between thos slices of personality on their way to burst out in this mental institution called society where people are told how to act/be perfect through well done marketed resapies. Oh sure theres good education given when parents actually have time for their kids..but when this isnt hapening / no cash to share, what does? What do you tell a homeless/ broken home child if he’s more aware of the bullshit: everthing is going to be ok? HOW?
Well enough of this. We like to wear pink in the bedroom though. We like pink at times when it goes with a clear sky.
And we like to party and reject bullshit..have a sip of good wine, cold beer or ..whatever you see fit if you’re vegetarian.
However, every party animal or superhuman has a place on his turf, better respect that without hating and acting judgemental because here’s neither the place nor the right pie. Go eat your own pie if you dont like how we bake ours.
We like pie. So stay cool.
